Burgundy under $100 from Michelin-rated estates
Published . Based on the July 2026 Burgundy study. Prices in USD.
The grand cru price is rarely the only way into a Burgundy producer’s range. Bourgogne, Aligoté and Mâcon labels offer a different starting point.
We picked 23 Burgundy wines with a retail benchmark below $100 from the Michelin study’s value tables. This is a starting list for comparing bottles, not a list of everything available under that price.

Where to start
Look at the label before the producer’s headline price. A Bourgogne Aligoté and a grand cru from the same estate are very different purchases, even though they share a producer name.
The lower end of this shortlist includes Joseph Drouhin’s Bourgogne Aligoté, Louis Jadot’s Mâcon labels and Bourgogne wines from Bouchard Père & Fils. Further up are regional wines from Sauzet, Bouley and Hubert Lamy.

The shortlist
These are wines made in Burgundy. We have left out wines from other regions that appear in the same producer portfolios. The award column describes the linked estate; it does not rate the individual bottle.
Selected wines with a study benchmark below $100. Prices in USD; vintages aggregated.
Higher awards do not put every wine out of reach
Three-Grape portfolios include entry labels as well as expensive bottles. Compare the price of the wine you want, rather than assuming every label costs the estate median.

Before choosing a bottle
Check the vintage, bottle size and merchant location on the wine page. The study benchmark combines vintages and worldwide offers; a specific bottle can cost more or less.
A producer’s trading portfolio can include a separate domaine or négociant label. For example, the Héritiers du Comte Lafon wines are shown under the study’s linked Comtes Lafon portfolio. Check the bottle’s producer identity alongside its price.
Sources and method
Prices are the saved Wine Labs worldwide retail benchmarks in USD, with vintages aggregated. They are reference prices from the source study, rather than quotes from a merchant today. Check the linked wine page for a particular vintage and current offers.
The source study takes the median of each wine’s per-vintage worldwide median prices. Listing counts refer to offer rows at the time of the study; they do not count bottles, sales or unique merchants.
The Michelin award belongs to the estate. A wine in its trading portfolio has not received a separate Grape award. Selected means recommended without a numbered Grape award.
The shortlist is an editorial selection from the source extract, which contains up to ten lower-priced wines per award tier. It keeps Burgundy examples with at least five study listings. It is not an exhaustive price ranking. The portfolio median chart uses the full source portfolios, including wines outside Burgundy.
