Bordeaux under $100 from Michelin-rated estates
Published . Based on the Bordeaux dataset updated 17 September 2026. Prices in USD.
A château’s best-known wine is not always its most affordable label. Second wines, dry whites and wines from other properties in the same portfolio can cost much less.
The Bordeaux study contains 213 wine benchmarks below $100 across the rated portfolios. The table below shows 40 lower-priced examples from its value extract.

What the price buys
There are several routes into a château’s range. Les Fiefs de Lagrange and Connetable Talbot are second wines; Le G de Château Guiraud is a dry white. Château Grand Village belongs to the Lafleur portfolio but is a separate property.
Those distinctions matter. A low portfolio price does not mean the château’s grand vin is available at the same price, or that another label carries the same award in its own right.

The shortlist
Start with the wine name, then compare the vintage and current offers. The linked producer column follows the portfolio mapping in the original study.
Selected wines with a study benchmark below $100. Prices in USD; vintages aggregated.
How much of each portfolio sits below $100?
The threshold covers a larger share of the One-Grape and Selected portfolios than of the higher tiers. These figures include all tracked labels, not just the grand vins.

Finding the grand vin
If you want the château’s principal wine, use the grand vin table in the original Bordeaux report. It names each estate’s headline wine separately from the wider portfolio.
For the shortlist here, check the exact label as well as the vintage. A dry white, a second wine and a Sauternes are not substitutes simply because they come from the same château.
Sources and method
Prices are the saved Wine Labs worldwide retail benchmarks in USD, with vintages aggregated. They are reference prices from the source study, rather than quotes from a merchant today. Check the linked wine page for a particular vintage and current offers.
The source study takes the median of each wine’s per-vintage worldwide median prices. Listing counts refer to offer rows at the time of the study; they do not count bottles, sales or unique merchants.
The Michelin award belongs to the estate. A wine in its trading portfolio has not received a separate Grape award. Selected means recommended without a numbered Grape award.
The examples come from the 40 lowest-priced wines in the saved Bordeaux value extract, with at least five study listings. The below-$100 totals use the full study distribution across 322 tracked wines. Multi-bottle lots were excluded by the source study.
