Shanken News Daily described Radius as a brand of Seattle-based Precept Wine. In 2013 it reported that Radius was introduced "in partnership with Total Wine & More" and was expected to reach 100,000 cases that year (Shanken News Daily, May 15, 2013). In 2015 it reported that Radius was launched in 2010 as a Total Wine & More exclusive, retailed at $10.99, and reached 110,000 cases on 20% growth the year before (Shanken News Daily, September 22, 2015). These reports give a later start date than the brand's own "since 2008". We have not found a source that explains the difference.

The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the only red with a narrower appellation than the state. Columbia Valley is one of Washington's American Viticultural Areas.
Our catalogue also holds a Radius Pinot Noir from Curicó Valley in Chile and a Radius Sauvignon Blanc from Chile's Central Valley. Neither is on the brand's current wine page, and the Pinot Noir has one live retail listing in our data. Treat these as separate products.
Washington context
The Washington State Wine Commission describes Washington as the second-largest wine-producing state in the US. It reports about 35,000 acres of wine grapes, 22 AVAs, 6 to 8 inches of annual rainfall in the Columbia Valley and a growing-season swing of 30 to 40°F between day and night (Washington State Wine Commission, Fast Facts).
The brand says it sources grapes from both Washington and California (Radius). Its wine page assigns each finished wine to one appellation, as shown in the table above.
What Radius red wine costs today
Each wine is priced from live offers for a single 750 ml bottle. A chain counts as one seller per country, and each seller contributes one price per wine (its median).
Live 750 ml offers, November 1 to 4, 2026. One price per seller.

Quartiles for the Syrah are left out because only seven sellers list it.

Independent stores and online merchants price the wines at or close to the Total Wine & More shelf price. Most store listings do not state a vintage, so the figures above are for the wine as sold, not for a single vintage.
Auction and restaurant prices
Radius wines do not trade at auction. We hold no auction lots for any Radius wine. We found the Merlot on two US restaurant wine lists in September and October 2026, at a median of $20 a bottle. That is too few lists to give a typical restaurant price.
How to compare Radius prices
- Match the wine, not only the brand. The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley) and the Cabernet Sauvignon (Washington State) are different wines at different prices.
- Keep Eclipse separate. It is the only California red in the range.
- Check the vintage. Most shelf listings do not show one. If a vintage matters to you, check the bottle.
- Use the median. Single listings far from the medians above often come from a different format or a data error.

Data methodology: Wine Labs data, collected November 1–4, 2026. Retail figures use live offers from online merchants and from physical wine shops for single 750 ml bottles. A chain counts as one seller per country, and each seller gives one price per wine (the median of its offers). Store counts are distinct physical stores. Auction figures use the Wine Labs auction dataset; no Radius lots were found. Restaurant figures use one price per restaurant list, with flagged outliers removed. All prices are in US dollars, as listed by each seller. Wine details come from the brand's website and the press sources linked above.
